In memory of Andrey Cherkizov
On Sunday evening, at the age of 53, the famous Russian journalist Andrei Aleksandrovich Cherkizov, known for his work at the Ekho Moskvy radio station and on central television, died after a serious illness. In 1977, Andrei Cherkizov (Semyonov) graduated from the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after Lenin, but from the next year he became a professional journalist. In 1981-1988 he worked as a literary secretary and assistant to writer Yulian Semenov.
