The Belarusian opposition protests again
Yesterday, the Belarusian opposition held a protest action dedicated to Freedom Day, in which, according to various estimates, up to 10 thousand people took part. The authorities banned a rally on Oktyabrskaya Square in the center of Minsk, where mass protests against the results of the presidential elections took place a year ago. Since Sunday morning, the square was cordoned off, no traffic stopped there, and the nearest metro station was closed.
