Exhibition of Alexander Ivanov at the Tretyakov Gallery The first impression of the exhibition of the artist , whose 200th anniversary was celebrated in 2006, was joyful. Finally, the great artist, still misunderstood by many amateurs and professionals, was presented fully, abundantly and generously: paintings, numerous sketches, graphics, watercolors, archival documents from the collection of the Russian State Library.
