On January 13 at 12 noon, at the age of 61, Mikhail Vladimirovich Donskoy, an outstanding Russian scientist and world-famous IT specialist, suddenly died. The victory of the Kaissa program in the first world championship among chess programs (1974) brought him worldwide fame. In our country, Mikhail Donskoy was also widely known as the developer of the INES database management system, author and co-author of many other large-scale IT projects.
