Associations of writers, artists, composers, photographers, theater workers, filmmakers, journalists - once powerful and enviable organizations - are today in a rather deplorable state. And the point is not only that, according to the current law, the state does not have the right to support them as public organizations, but also that in a changed society they have lost their functions. Why are they needed? Interest in creative unions has increased sharply in recent months.
