Street fighting has not subsided in the capital of Thailand for a week now. Yesterday, Thai government troops stormed an opposition camp in the center of Bangkok. For an hour, armored cars broke through huge barricades made of car tires and bamboo sticks. The demonstrators, in turn, fiercely resisted the authorities, throwing Molotov cocktails at the soldiers. As a result of the operation, at least two demonstrators and one foreign journalist were killed.
