Taliban in Pakistan burn NATO fuel tankers
Pakistani Taliban militants yesterday attacked a convoy of NATO fuel tankers near the Pakistani city of Quetta, the capital of the southwestern province of Balochistan. When the cars stopped in the hotel parking lot, a group of armed men opened fire on them. Western news agencies reported that one person was killed and about 20 fuel tankers were burned. "We take responsibility for the attack and destruction of NATO tankers," Taliban spokesman Azam Tariq said.
