FAS, on behalf of the government, began inspecting chicken and egg producers
The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has begun checking producers of chicken meat and eggs, RBC reports . Manufacturers are suspected of collective dominance and unreasonably inflating prices. The inspection was initiated by First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov. The FAS indicated that chicken producers could enter into anti-competitive agreements and abuse their dominant position.

Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy sentenced to three years for corruption
Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy was sentenced to three years in prison, two of which were suspended. Le Monde reports this. Sarkozy is accused of attempting to bribe magistrate Gilbert Azibert. The ex-president offered him a prestigious job in Monaco in exchange for information about a criminal investigation into his political party. The prosecution provided recordings of telephone conversations on this topic between Sarkozy and his lawyer Thierry Erzog.

Russian companies have applied to register the Clubhouse brand
Several Russian companies have applied to register trademarks with the word Clubhouse, Kommersant writes with reference to the Rospatent database. According to the publication, the St. Petersburg website development company Kreobits filed an application for a trademark for software classes on February 16. Three more applications for the trademarks Clubhouse, Clubhouse Radio and Clubhouse Audio were filed on February 20 by Choose Radio LLC.

260 people took advantage of Putin's tax proposal

Titov proposed tax amnesty for companies affected by the pandemic

The data of 21 million VPN clients was publicly available
A database of 21 million Android VPN app users has been leaked online. As Kommersant and Cybernews write, the database dates back to February 24 and contains data from the services SuperVPN, GeckoVPN, and ChatVPN. In the leaked data, you can find email addresses, passwords and user logins, data about countries and payments for premium accounts. Some records contain data about users' devices: serial numbers, phone types, and brands.
