On Thursday, September 19, a concert in memory of pianist Pavel Kushnir was held in Potsdam. On this day the musician would have turned 40 years old. His songs were performed at the concert for the first time: Kushnir’s compositions were not performed during his lifetime. Pavel Kushnir died on July 28 after a hunger strike in pre-trial detention center No. 1 in Birobidzhan. He was accused of calling for terrorism due to anti-war videos.
