Russia freed 16 Russian prisoners in exchange for killer and spies

Russia released 16 Russian prisoners in exchange for intelligence officers imprisoned in the United States and European countries. Politicians Ilya Yashin and Vladimir Kara-Murza, journalists Evan Gershkovich and Alsou Kurmasheva, artist Sasha Skochilenko, ex-coordinator of Navalny’s headquarters Liliya Chanysheva and other political prisoners were released.  Navalny’s ally Leonid Volkov said that as part of this exchange, Alexey Navalny was supposed to be released.  Today in Russia, almost 3 thousand people are still being persecuted for political reasons, and more than a thousand people are behind bars right now. #ovdinfo #news #shorts
