If a person is not yet on the Memorial list, it is worth looking for support groups, for example, on Telegram. There is a bot on Telegram (<a href="http://@svobot_bot)" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">http://@svobot_bot)</a> — it contains political prisoners and addresses for letters. For those who have not decided who to write to, the bot can give a random result.
There are several ways to send a letter, not just in a paper envelope. Many pretrial detention centers and colonies are connected to e-mail systems (they are then printed out at the institution itself).
