In the city of Okha in the Sakhalin region, schoolchildren were gathered in the school assembly hall before classes and told that they would talk about “the dangers of abortion.” After this, high school students were shown a video of a surgical abortion. At the same time, the organizers noted that those who are uncomfortable seeing this can simply not watch. “They showed a documentary about how many abortions happen in Russia every hour and every minute. They said that you can’t have an abortion, because it could be fatal for a girl, that she could become infertile,” one of the students told the publication “Caution, News.”
