Israel strikes downtown Beirut

At least six people were killed and eight were injured in the Lebanese capital. According to Reuters, this is the deadliest strike on Beirut since the Hamas attack on Israel began on October 7, 2023. The strike hit a Hezbollah-affiliated medical center, writes the BBC. The medical center building is located near the Lebanese Parliament.
