Moscow protest artist sentenced to five years in prison for ‘hooliganism’
A court in Moscow has sentenced Pavel Krisevich, a protest artist, to five years in a medium-security prison for “hooliganism,” a newsperson for Novaya.Europe reports. Krisevich in the courtroom, picture from Twitter Krisevich avoided extra punishment for “gang crime upon preliminary collusion.” The prosecutor demanded five years for the artist, too, noting that he has a good conduct certificate from his mandatory conscription service, but has a bad conduct certificate from his college.
