Great Pochin

70 thousand “ours”, gathered on September on Sakharov Avenue in Moscow, made a wonderful decision: to collect the “bad” books “Bad” books “with falsification of history” and send them all of Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, former President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko, Prime Minister Estonia Andrus Ansipu, writer Viktor Suvorov and me, sinful.

I consider this decision wonderful, since the fact that “ours” is bad for normal and healthy people is good. I don’t know what friendly presidents, premieres and writers think about the initiative of young Timurovites, but I like this idea. I like that they do not burn books in the squares, as their spiritual predecessors did. I like that they want to give books to those who can read and think. I like that even such a difficult teenager as Robert Schlegel was distracted from ordinary stupid things and admonished his fellow-book with a kind word.

I hope they will collect good books and there will be a lot of them. I ask the guys to take this matter seriously, with all responsibility. Remember, friends, this is not waste paper, these are books. They will be read and transferred to each other. Be careful. Do not bend the pages, do not garbage with dirty fingers. Do not store books in raw places.

When there are a lot of books, let me know. I will ask Mikhail Saakashvili, Viktor Yushchenko, Andrus Ansip and Viktor Suvorov, a power of attorney for conducting affairs and I will accept the books from you strictly according to the inventory in the presence of my friends, international observers and the press. I promise that not a single book will disappear and will suffer from careless storage.

I expect to create a consortium with the above gentlemen and establish a library (and if there are really many books, then there are many libraries) to contribute to education and public education. As a special humanitarian action, we will hire special readers who will read these books at night to those children who can collect books, but do not know how to read them.

I suggest “ours” not to dwell on a one -time initiative, but to make it a constant program, focusing on it all its attention, all the forces and means of the organization. All the same, nothing more useful for the country has been able to do in his entire life will no longer be able to do.
