What I love about both of our presidents, big and small, is their courage. They are not afraid to seem funny. They are not afraid to seem stupid. They are not afraid to appear as they really are! And let others laugh or be perplexed - our presidents do not care about this, they, like all Soviet ones, have their own pride.
The younger president had long imitated the elder, but now he cheated on him with an overseas comrade. Now he has decided to emulate Obama and his predecessors. In fact, Reagan came to Moscow and met with dissidents. Obama came to Moscow and met with the opposition. And Medvedev will go to New York in September and meet with dissidents there. He said as much on September 15 at a meeting with participants of the Valdai discussion club: “We need to talk to dissidents; I think it’s right - let them tell you what problems exist in the USA.”
Well done! As they say, cut it! We'll show them Kuzka's mother! What kind of dissidents these are in the USA, who they are, only Medvedev knows. Or he doesn’t know, but pretends. However, what difference does it make? The main thing is to blurt it out so that it looks like the truth and how it is done “with them.”
Well, yes, then everyone will laugh, but we are already used to it.
