Return "Five"

Strictly speaking, they are not so much returning as they pop up - like the same unsightly substance that never drowns. The political investigation has never really disappeared from our life, but in the 90s it was somewhat shed, and preferred not to advertise his survivability.

Now it is another matter. The Chekists are again opened by all roads, they are again needed as a military detachment of the party in power, they have demand, and they are honored, respect, vastly financing and liberation from laws. They again feel like an elite - the one that never drowning.

Earlier, the 5th Directorate of the KGB of the USSR and its numerous departments and branches throughout the country were engaged in a political detective in the country. They hunted the dissidents, caught samizdat, “prevented” the dissatisfied, supervised political camps, controlled ideological censorship, prevented escape to the west and did many more that the communist regime held on. One of these cases was the organization of external observation of dissidents - “outdoor”.

I did not learn about the return of the “five” to our life from the opposition press and not from political analysts. I saw her. With your own eyes. Looking the other day into the courtyard of my house, I found the reincarnation of the 5th control in the form to the tears of the familiar “outdoor”-one car stood at one exit from the yard, the second-at the other. Everything, like thirty years ago, as if nothing had changed. Unless they have better cars - not camouflaged under the Volga salad -colored taxi, but steep cars with tinted glasses - Mercedes and BMW. It was impossible to make a mistake, but just in case, in the evening I checked, having filed on the desert roads of the nearest park.

However, as it turned out after a simple verification, “grazing” not me, but Vladimir Bukovsky, who usually stops with me when he comes to Moscow for a short while. This time he came to the congress of “solidarity”, went to court for the alleged reading of the sentence Khodorkovsky and Lebedev, gave interviews, met with people - everything is as usual, nothing secret. And all this time, two cars drove to the eyeballs who could introduce themselves to anyone, but not those who they really are.

Bukovsky is a public and open person. Conducting external observation of it is the top of the Chekist stupidity for two reasons. Firstly, he does nothing secret that it would have to be hidden. This is his fundamental position, remaining from dissident times. Secondly, to find their “secret” observation is no difficult for us, at whatever respectful distance they stay from us and, no matter how often, cars and numbers on them are often changed. We at this school unlearned in the last century.

Surely they understand this. Then why? The answer, most likely, is one: a political investigation has become an independent force that provides itself with the front of work. They can afford to engage in useless business, as they have a staff of employees, sufficient resources and are not controlled by anyone. If they allow themselves to be at the “outdoor” for Bukovsky, then we can confidently assume that the active figures of the democratic opposition are in their operational development. How does this correlate with the law? No way! Special services traditionally consider themselves above the law.

When Bukovsky left, the outdoor vehicles followed us to the Domodedovo Airport, and the Toptuns escorted it to the most border control. Two of them went into the border zone and talked for a long time with the border guards, after which difficulties had difficulties in Bukovsky when passing passport control. What exactly, no one explained - they just took his passport and put him in a separate room, where they kept exactly until his plane flew away. Bukovsky had to buy a new ticket and fly to London with the next flight.

There was no sense in the actions of the Chekists. They not only did not achieve anything, but did not achieve anything. I was stopped by the police officers on the way back to their call, because they were told that I left the airport parking without paying for it. Bukovsky was punished by 300 pounds for a new ticket. All this looks like small dirty tricks. But behind this is more - they demonstrate to us their existence, their strength and impunity. They send their message to our society: "We returned."

Their return to life is patronized by the Chekist in the post of Prime Minister. Therefore, even the old Chekist guard is not afraid of either lustration, or public condemnation, or criminal liability for its atrocities in the era of socialism. Former chief of the 5th Main Directorate of the KGB of the USSR, Army General Philip Bobkov does not hesitate to repeat the hackneyed myths born in the bowels of his own department. “When they say that we fought with dissidents, this is said to be perfect, because no one fought with dissenters. But there were people in the Soviet Union, who came into contact with foreign intelligence, with anti -Soviet organizations that existed in the West, and conducted work in the Soviet Union to undermine the constitutional system. Work on the fight against power. And when some measures were taken in the 5th administration against these people, in order to protect them, save them, this cry was thrown in the West, that dissidents are not given the opportunity to live in the Soviet Union. ”

One of the main organizers of political repressions in the USSR in the 60-70s does not tell this Soviet agita not at the CPSU congress and not at the meeting of any part-time. He tells this in an interview for the film by Nicholas Sorllo “Dissant from the KGB” (about the CGB captain Viktor Orekhov) this time - this or last year.

After the collapse of communism in 1992, Philip Bobkov resigned and settled in the Most group with Vladimir Gusinsky as the head of the analytical service. When the company was taken from Gusinsky, the chief-glassist quickly moved to RIA Novosti. Such people do not disappear. It does not sink. Now Bobkov pops up with his arguments about the protection of the Soviet state system, and this is most likely not by chance. Such bastards have a good scent to changes in the political situation.

The Chekists perked up. All of them, from colorless operatives from the “outdoor” to the general, understand that the “five” returned, which means that they will soon have a lot of work.
