The Governor of the Kaliningrad Region George Boos "United Russia" does not put forward for a new term. The opposition is delighted and believes that these work is the consequences of the mass rally on January 30 this year. In part, it is. The opposition demanded the resignation of Boos. The Kremlin pursed their lips and muttered: "For nothing." Then more than 10 thousand people came to the rally - to the resignation of BOOS! The Kremlin rested with all its horns and hooves - we will not give it out. As if Boos is the last line of defense, a sacred relic, a regimental banner and the hope of a nation.

Yes, figuratively speaking, sneeze on Boos. Such as he is a legion. He was not shot because the opposition demanded this. He was not removed because the government considers it shameful weakness to respond to public indignation. And he was not shot because it is very profitable at the right time to sacrifice a pawn for the sake of saving the party. The scheme has been worked out. Personal issues, personnel replacements are the easiest and most harmless for the authorities, so it is here that it fills the price to give another pawn when it seems profitable.

The opposition, which inadvertently involved in the game with the authorities, "Personnel solve everything," celebrates the victory. “Boos's departure is a great victory for the Kaliningrad opposition,” Vladimir Milov claims with amazing naivety. And even not at all the naive Boris Nemtsov considers this the first victory. It is assumed that the next governor will be better. This is an illusion. The next governor will be exactly what the Kremlin wants.

I would not be at all surprised if I found out that the Kremlin political technologists canalize public indignation towards personal appointments, and not the prevailing management system. This is the field of a political game on which they can butt with the opposition to the second coming. What could be better for the authorities than the opposition rallies with the requirements of the resignation of Luzhkov, Nurgaliev and the same Boos? From time to time, the Kremlin will make a gift - to remove another odious official. Will it change anything? Nothing! Instead of Luzhkov, Nurgaliev or Boos (and further on the list), Luzhkov-2, Nurgaliev-3, Boos-4, etc. will come. The Kremlin has enough resources.

It is ridiculous to say that everyone knows well - you need to change the system. Changing the system (for example, the return of the election of governors) would really be the victory of the opposition. And the change of an official at the request of the opposition is not only not a victory, but in a sense, the recognition of the legitimacy of the existing system for the appointment of governors. That the authorities are obviously pleasant, and society is contraindicated.

By the way, Boos, apparently, is not the worst of the current Russian governors. Perhaps he is deprived of the next governor's term just because he did not disperse the same rally with the help of riot police, as his colleagues in Moscow and St. Petersburg do.
