The law of fools

Laws are bad or good, soft or harsh, relevant or dead, necessary and not very. The law adopted on June 11, introducing administrative responsibility for propaganda among children of "non -traditional sexual relations", is primarily stupid.

In the legal state, the law must be clear and understandable to everyone - citizens, police officers, prosecutors, judges. What is "non -traditional sexual relations"? There is no such concept in the legislation. Everyone can mean by this what they want. For example, as what does not correspond to his personal or family traditions.

In the original version proposed by the Novosibirsk Regional Duma, there was “homosexuality” on the site of “non -traditional sexual relations”. At least it’s clear. But either federal legislators did not want to openly like the Communists, the Nazis and Islamic fundamentalists who brutally pursued homosexuals, or they wanted to expand the boundaries of the application of the law - replaced the word that was understandable by an incomprehensible expression.

Maybe they consider homosexuality a form of non -traditional sexual relations? Thus, the traditions of homosexuality have a much longer history than Russian statehood, Christianity, Judaism and in general human culture. For homosexual relations, in addition to people, are characterized by at least one and a half thousand species of animals. And some species of monkeys (for example, macaki and orangutan) often demonstrate bisexual relations, choosing the same -sex partners even if there are individuals of the opposite sex in a flock. The traditions of homosexuality in nature have a longer history than a human form. So what kind of non -traditional sexual relations do deputies of the Russian parliament are talking about?

Maybe they consider oral sex unconventional? Or an artificial floor change? It would be nice to be the deputy Elena Mizulina, who was so pleasing for domestic sexual traditions, explained to her citizens subordinate to her, what exactly she has in mind, pushing this law. And we would all laugh together with a deputy hypocrisy and modern barbarism. And then they informed her that these “not traditions” are found in nature, which does not obey the laws of the State Duma in any way. Bat mice (up to 70% of females) and bonobo chimpanzees have oral sex. The change of floor or the simultaneous presence of both sexes is characteristic of many species of both plant and animal world. Nature itself has established traditions that deputies of the State Duma do not like.

Maybe, non -traditional sexual relations mean polygamy? So that is unconventional in St. Petersburg or Ryazan, quite traditionally among the peoples professing Islam. Will the federal law apply selectively on the territory of the Russian Federation in this case? And how will this look from the point of view of the uniformity of legislation and the equality of citizens before the law?

What else will Russian law enforcement officers and law enforcement officers write down in "non -traditional sexual relations"? They would share, or something, secret knowledge with the people.

And finally, the question is fundamental. Well, let's say, all the sexual relations that State Duma deputies condemn as unconventional are really the same. But what is the traditional relationship more valuable than non -traditional? Why should the everyday life of citizens rule tradition, and not modern civilized law? The traditions of the slave trade, for example, have many millennia, they finally got rid of them only in the century before last. According to the logic of Russian legislators, the tradition of owning slaves should be stronger than equal rights?

The stupid law was adopted by the State Duma, stupid and absurd. For foreigners and stateless persons, a separate punishment is provided in the form of 15 days of administrative arrest. This violates the principle enshrined in Article 19 of the Constitution of Russia (“all are equal before the law and the court”), and is an anti -constitutional form of discrimination on the basis of nationality and place of residence.

There are different opinions about genuine reasons that prompted the power to adopt such a shameful law. Some believe that this is a way to split society and provoke a civil confrontation in which the power itself will take the place of the arbitrator. Others believe that the authorities are trying to consolidate society based on xenophobia. The reasons can be different, there may be several.

Symptomatic, however, that the efforts of the authorities over the past year amazingly resemble the history of the formation of the National Socialist state in Germany. In the same way, liberals, gays, “foreign agents” and neighboring peoples are included in the list of enemies (only Jews have not yet been recorded). Racism is also cultivated in the same way (in our case, in relation to Asian labor migrants), anti -Western rhetoric triumphs, their own historical merits and a special historical path are exalted.

We are talking about "non -traditional sexual relations" - the Nazis in the course had the definition of "unnatural fornication between men." Our explanatory note to the bill refers to the need to "protect first of all the younger generation from the effects of homosexual propaganda" - Adolf Hitler said: "We determine the conditions under which sexual intercourse is performed! We will fashion the unborn child!" Very similar arguments.

It is no coincidence that on June 11, the extreme nationalists came to the State Duma with picketers from LGBT - from Orthodox fanatics to neo -Nazis. It was they who shouted “suitcases, station, Auschwitz!” Here is the electorate of Msulin, here is the support of the Russian parliament!

Over the past year, the non -elected state Duma has adopted many laws that go beyond the law. It is impossible to re -elect this "parliament" today - there is no honest election and is not expected. The only reasonable, legal and worthy way out in this situation is not to execute wild laws.
