A native of Armenia was killed in the Moscow region

On November 11, 2006, 15-year-old native of Armenia Narek Kocharyan was killed in the city of Ivanteevka near Moscow. The teenager was found late in the evening near the Ivanteevka platform with numerous stab wounds to the back and taken to the hospital, where he died.

N. Kocharyan lived in the Moscow region and studied at hairdressing courses. On the evening of the murder, he went for a walk with his friends.

Experts recorded almost two dozen stab wounds on the back and legs of the deceased, and characteristic strangulation marks on the neck. According to policemen, the teenager was strangled or tried to hang. For this, a scarf with the image of a skull and bones was used.

On the fact of what happened, the prosecutor's office of the city of Ivanteevka initiated a criminal case under part 4 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (deliberate infliction of grievous bodily harm, negligently resulting in the death of the victim). As one of the versions, the investigation also considers a murder motivated by ethnic hatred. The criminal case was taken under control by the prosecutor's office of the Moscow region.
