The Kremlin "Orthodoxy" has become for its carriers "driver's rights" for riding without rules
Power loves to be in sight. Get amphora from the sea, extinguish forest fires on airplanes, stand with a candle in the temple. But being in sight does not mean to be open. What is actually there, in the Kremlin’s offices and in the souls of their inhabitants - we do not know. But sometimes the veil of secrets is slightly opened. And the conclusions suggest by themselves. For example, what is “Kremlin Orthodoxy” and what is its price ...
"Oh, I was then ..."

The decisive role in his popularity was played by his image of a fighter for Great Russia and Orthodoxy. In the early 90s, we saw him next to people such as the Metropolitan of St. Petersburg and Ladoga John (Snychev) and historian Lev Gumilyov, both Orthodox, and at the same time almost cult figures for Orthodox nationalists ...
And relatively recently, Nevzorov returned to media extension. But he returned as a militant atheist and a fighter with "priests and obscurantism." He gives “lessons of atheism” on the Internet, and answers the question about the “Orthodox” past: “Oh, I was then an avid statesman and an Imperial. Part of this ideology was such a word as “Orthodoxy”. But at that time, unlike today, it was devoid of any meaning, did not mean anything but fidelity to the imperial idea. I just used it as a necessary tool in arrangement. At the same time, of course, the believers have never been ”[ 1 ].
So, the venerable National Imperial Nevzorov has never been a believer. It is natural to assume that other fans of the empire, fans of the “strong hand” are also atheists in the soul. This recognition is interesting primarily in that it shows the secret background of the “spiritual revival” in Russia, the “miraculous appeal” of former communists and Chekists in the “Orthodox”. And it is very accurately noticed: such a word as “Orthodoxy” is a part of ideology for them. Ideology, which has nothing to do with the Gospel: it is a frank cult of power, state power. And Orthodoxy for them is a “necessary tool”.
True, Nevzorov himself was disappointed in this instrument. He says about the Moscow Patriarchate: “They promised to bring crowds that would worship United Russia, but the crowds did not come. Nevertheless, there is at least some illusion of the possibility of management. Therefore, officials have to be baptized, pray, hung with lamps. At the same time, in personal conversations, many of them tell how they hate this obscurantism. ” As you can see, folk intuition, who did not believe too much in the mass piety of officials, turned out to be right.
"Absolutely indifferent to these issues"
Now for the broad masses, the Russian Orthodox Church and secular power are one, because it looks from the outside: periodically it demonstrates the highest persons from both sides, probably pursuing their considerations, and possibly for this, being forced to do this. On television screens, the same Patriarch is steaming with the same president in various media fields, both exchange courtesies and in every possible way portray harmony and unity.
In the last publication on this problem [ 2 ] we have already touched on the topic of Sergianism: dubious cooperation of the hierarchs with the Bolshevik authorities. About the Patriarch of Sergius, about his politics, they still argue, namely: did the Russian church have acquired or lost more compromises? They will argue, apparently about Patriarch Kirill. He, like the deceased Patriarch Alexy II, has his own strategy for the state: and this is rather loyalty than neutrality. In exchange from the authorities, a turn is expected to a moral reorganization of the country on traditional principles. That is, they expect the restoration of the pre -revolutionary position of the Church in Russia, first of all, having fixed the previous amount of property.
In addition, wishes are increasingly expressed that the media controlled by the state would finally begin to sow “reasonable, good, eternal”, but, alas, the flow of vulgarity and immorality from television screens does not impoverish, so that these hopes are in vain, and the board is already made: the people are considering the Russian Orthodox Church as part of the state, and this is very alarming.
The secular rulers have their own motive to “be friends” with the Moscow Patriarchate: one of the “traditional religions” is the same “instrument” that Nevzorov speaks of with such cynicism. Moreover, according to him, Putin himself "is absolutely indifferent to these issues." Nevzorov immediately reveals the motivation of the president’s policy in relation to the church: “Understand that a person is in a car with a long -broken, broken wheel. The speed is decent, the tanks are full. And then someone slips him a helm of the steering wheel-in the form of Orthodoxy. You have to be crazy so as not to grab him. "
So, with all his hatred of Orthodoxy, Nevzorov treats this with understanding.
At one time, Ilya Glazunov, Putin's visit to Putin, made a lot of noise. The people then made fun of the “glazomer”: “only to cut the sausage” with such a sword - this was said about a small sword for a young prince on one of the artist’s paintings. But then Putin dropped that the holy mentors of the princes Boris and Gleb could not serve us as an example, because “they went on and waited for them to be killed”! The first Russian saints cannot serve us as an example! Good would say that not everyone is capable of such a feat of Christian humility for the sake of fraternity and peace in the country ...
This stunning statement in itself could be a sensation, sounding from the lips of the “practitioner Orthodox”, as prominent representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church MP characterized it ...
But he still does not let the steering wheel let out ...
Mouse games with a cat
At the same time, it seems that the benefits of merging with the state for the Church are somewhat exaggerated. According to a member of the Expert Council for the conduct of a state religious examination under the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, the assistant to the chairman of the Federation Council Alexander Shchipkov, “church-state relations are not reduced to the emergence of Putin at Easter worship. No one sees a huge layer of non -public communication between the church representatives with representatives of the authorities. Almost always, the interests of the Church have to defend in very harsh negotiations. Behind the closed doors, no one ceremony with us and does not observe etiquette. ” [ 3 ]
This is written by the Orthodox, and by no means liberal, not an oppositionist, but a major official, a real state adviser of the 3rd grade. That is, a person who obviously knows the situation from the inside.
In his other article, the same Schipkov wrote at the beginning of the year: “Apparently, it was in 2010, shortly after the appearance of a new patriarch, it was decided to transfer the fight against the Russian Orthodox Church to official media-to large newspapers, magazines, and television channels. Since the beginning of 2011, the intensity of pressure on the church jumped at times: instead of small Internet sites, state information resources have entered into business. The anti -church course becomes a "state order". It is building their campaigns of party and politicians ... ". [ 4 ]
As you can see, the author talks about the state order (!), That is, customers should not be sought behind the ocean, not in London, not in the Berezovsky lair, but here we have, at the side. And, as we see, “aggressive liberals” and supporters of same -sex marriages have nothing to do with it, so that they would not write there in the appeal of the Supreme Church Council of the ROC MP.
This echoes what Nevzorov said: “You know, if I wrote the script at the final collapse of Orthodoxy, then it would be exactly what the Russian Orthodox Church is now realizing. These would be precisely these remarks and stuffing. I am even tormented by doubts: is there a double or triple game of the Kremlin here, which provides the possibility of the church to kill against the wall with his own hands? ”
Having the image of an independent abandoned marginal, Nevzorov can afford to speak much more than others. But what he says is not by chance, as his appearance in the media with this topic. We have nothing accidental in the media sphere. Nevzorov was taken into the Putin team not as a technical worker, but as a sign figure. Always remaining an atheist, he began his vulgar attacks on Orthodoxy only at a certain political moment, when this was given a go -ahead for leading media.
Even under Stalin, who used the moral resource of the Church, the policy of “Sergianism” began: the game of a mouse with a cat - who will benefit more from an unstable and ambiguous union of the Kremlin elite and church administration ...
But the game has always remained unequal.
