I remember that a few years ago, from the performance in our theater, it was necessary to immediately transfer to the cinema, where the German cinema festival began. Now with the movement, it will obviously be easier. It remains only to understand: is it worth it to make efforts?
It is unlikely that the Russian spectator will immediately break off the place and rushing into the cinema, hearing the names of the French directors: Michael Ers, Benois Jaco, Philip Liora, Axel Rooper, Emmanuel Mura ... What is Mure? What are you? We and our mura are plenty of.
Modern French cinema is definitely alive, but his condition is somewhat similar to the state of some heroes of the films shown at the festival of French cinema. For example, on the state of the heroes of Michael Ers’s films “In the wake of unforgettable youth” and Axel Roper “Family Volberg”.
In both films, families of families seem to be quite healthy, but it turns out that they are deadly sick. Outwardly, this is almost imperceptible, but if you look closely ... no, not that it is the French cinema that has penetrated the virus. In a modern non -tricky cinema, in which billions of dollars do not rotate, regardless of the country in which such a movie is shot, similar processes occur.
Such a movie defiantly shunes a large scale and, in general, the whole catchy. The authors deliberately choose not a highway, but a path that goes along or across.
Moreover, such a movie cannot be called marginal. Among the films shown at the end of December in Pskov, the nominee for the main prize of the Venice Film Festival, the laureate of a special prize of the jury of the Kansky festival ...
However, the nominees and laureates of an ordinary viewer should rather scare away. Festival cinema taught the public that she would be offered something boring, some kind of grovemotine or, conversely, something shocking.

Selects of French films took pity on the audience. Nevertheless, it is difficult to imagine that the film “In the Faces of an unforgettable youth”, where Lolita Shamma, daughter of Isabelle Jupper, starred in one of the roles, could not go into a wide Russian rental.
If the heroes of this film return from the party for railway rails for a long time, then we can say in advance that their train, unexpectedly drawn from behind, will not be able to. There will be no train at all, and everyone will calmly get home.
This is a necessary condition for such a movie where nothing extreme happens.

But this also has already become a kind of fashion.
In Michael Ers, everything is arranged like the neurotic frontman of The Smiths Morrissi with his “I am also a person, and I also need love ...” or like the guitarist The Smiths Johnny Marra with his mean guitar passages. The emphasized discreet, impressionist spirit, strong feelings driven inside ...
Michael Ers, together with his actors Tibo Vincon, Dunei Sychov, Lolita Shamma and others, combine poetry with the life of the Parisian suburbs, immersing the audience into everyday life, where there is no place for the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, the Cote d'Azur ... But there is a meeting of graduates, a school gym with love on mats, a modest school rock band, a modest school grip The atmosphere of a music store, a pool, a cafe, a modest family dinner ... Even when the heroes play tennis, this is not a tennis, but a desktop.
In fact, what we see is a desktop movie, no matter how much we relate. But in table tennis there are also Olympic champions.

The media “Workshop” is like a TIR club, in the sense that once there was a shooting range, and then the TIR club became. And the “workshop” is a failed workshop of theatrical decorator artists, which they decided to adapt to other goals. While the white “workshop” is like a sheet of white paper on which you can draw or write anything: exquisite, vulgar, smart, stupid ... It all depends on the organizers and spectators, how much they agree with each other. How much the city of Pskov will imbue the ideas that the artistic director of the Pskov Drama Theater Vasily Senin brought here.
In the film "Volberg Family" there is such an episode: Uncle teaches a young nephew to play the guitar. The nephew is interested in the technique of slap (this is when the phalanx of the thumb beats along the strings). But the fact is that the bass gitars have neither uncle nor the nephew yet. There is no bass gitars, but there is already a conversation about technology.
The Pskovichi theater building already has. Walls, roof, equipment ... But how will it all sound?
Partly the future of the theater depends on how the interaction of the theater and the media will be built. Previously, a living discussion around the productions was not too welcomed. Only enthusiastic manifestations were expected from journalists, and when critical articles appeared instead of them, which, for example, published in the Pskov press in the 1990s, Alexei Maslov, the theater perceived this as an insult and took administrative measures. A living discussion does not imply fatal offenses, and even more so administrative measures. If the collective mind defeats, the theater can again turn into a folk house.
The festival was opened by the film "In the Forest Defail" directed by Benois Jaco. The action takes place not just in the wilderness, but in the nineteenth century. But in a sense, this is the most modern film, shown at the past festival.
This is a movie about the invader. About the young tramp, which invades personal space and takes possession of the soul and body of a young girl. Cruel cinema.
In essence, this is the prototype of modern media, or rather those people who are behind all this, skillfully manipulating consciousness.
However, it is important to understand that the God -fearing girl, who was taken to the forest, a rogue from the film Benois Jaco, was internally ready for this. The tramp with hypnotic abilities followed her and saw that she was inclined to remain in a borderline state, to stand over the abyss. It remained only to push her to this abyss.
The modern media consumer also easily surrenders to the mercy of manipulators. Sometimes he wants to break out of a closed circle, but in a closed circle in his own way is not so bad. Habitual pleasures, familiar rhythm ...
Despite all the naturalism, “in the forest wilderness” is a traditional movie, in which the matter does not reach the extreme, and evil is put on the place that he put. And in this sense, this chamber movie is old -fashioned. Moreover, the French cartoons that showed in Pskov are old -fashioned.
Of course, all films without exception were accompanied by subtitles in Russian, but there were few subtitles in the cartoons. Still, children came to the "Workshop". Not all of them still know how to read.
Therefore, cartoons were voiced live Pskov actors. It initially seemed that dubbing was stronger than cartoons itself.
