I heartily congratulate you on a wonderful holiday - 1100th anniversary of the first mention of Pskov.

This anniversary is a significant event for the whole country.

After all, Pskov is rightfully considered one of the oldest and the most beautiful cities of Russia. For centuries he reliably guarded the northwestern borders of the country, witnessed the heroic events of our history.

Today the Pskov region is a modern, dynamically developing region, famous for its institutions of culture, science and education. Here they are proud of the glorious names of fellow countrymen, cherish and increase the wonderful traditions laid down by many generations predecessors.
