This is not an entertaining institution (such museums may be like that in a hundred years) and, probably, not even a place for cultural leisure, but a tribute to the outstanding countryman.

The only thing that the city administration can do for the Spasshsky Museum is to bear the issue of reducing the rent on the city Duma, and working with it is neither experience nor strength.

However, neither in the Museum-Reserve itself, nor in the regional administration, information on the possible transfer of the Museum of the Spassions to the city, and even more so its closure was not confirmed.

The director of the Pskov Museum-Reserve Olga Volochkova was even offended. Like, how can one suspect them of closing the museum, when, on the contrary, new ones constantly open! Moreover, the apartment of the Spegalsky is not painful for the budget of the museum-reserve. In general, in the next fifty years, the Museum of Spasshsky will work, promised Olga Kuzminichna. And her order to transfer funds is a work that was supposed to be done a long time ago, and has nothing to do with a change in the status of the museum-apartment.

It seems that disturbing news is just rumors. But, as you know, rumors have the ability to sometimes turn into reality. So, Maria Alexandrovna may not be worried at all in vain.

Probably, some changes to the Museum of the Spassions are even necessary if it will contribute to the growth of its popularity. I think that all the heroes of this story have their own versions that such an increase interferes with such growth. Only Yuri Pavlovich himself would not be extreme ...
