The flotilla, which openly carries the smuggling cargo to the gas sector, was patho -called “Freedom Flotilla”.

This is the second flotilla. The first one of the six ships, in May last year, tried to break through to Gaza, but was met by Israeli naval forces and retreated, having lost nine people killed on board the Marmar ship on board the Israeli Marine. This time it was planned that from June 30, about 500 missiles from 40 countries will take part in the Operation Flotilia Freedom-2. For the campaign, 10 ships from Italy, France, the USA, Ireland, Spain, Greece, Sweden, Norway and one cargo ship under the Palestinian flag were equipped. It was supposed to sail to everyone at the gathering site on July 5 and after a couple of days to "break the illegal Israeli blockade of Gaza."

Israeli diplomacy made maximum efforts so as not to bring the matter to bloodshed, but also to prevent smuggling of goods into the Hamas -controlled gas sector. The Israeli authorities proposed overloading all humanitarian assistance in the port of Ashdod or the Egyptian city of El-Arish and deliver it to the gas sector by land. The organizers of the flotilla naturally refused this proposal. The idea of ​​the campaign is not at all to deliver a ton of humanitarian aid to the unfortunate Palestinians, but to challenge Israel to control the territorial waters of the Gaza sector.

There are a variety of legal methods for the supply of humanitarian aid. For many years, Palestinians have been living actually exclusively due to international humanitarian assistance. The Unrwa Oonovsky Foundation of almost all Palestinians of the gas sector considers refugees and supplies them for free food, clothes, medicines, and essential items. Unrwa is funded by the United States (31%), the European Union (about 50%). 7% of funds are received by a fund from Muslim sources.

Gunnar Heinson - the head of the Lemkin Institute at the University of Bremen, described this situation in Wall Street Journal as follows: “The West pays for food, schools, medical care and housing, while Muslim countries help with weapons. Not constrained by such frost as the need to earn a living, young people have a lot of time for digging tunnels, smuggles of weapons, assembly of missiles and fingers. ”

With such a massive and many years of humanitarian aid, an attempt to deliver several dozen tons of humanitarian cargo to the sea looks like a reason for confrontation and nothing more. The admirals of the Flothel of Freedom, in fact, do not hide this. Their goal is a breakthrough of the blockade.

Maybe they are right? Why on earth did Israel install the blockade of this territory? We turn to history. The gas sector is a small territory on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea about 50 km in length and from 6 to 12 km wide. Square - 360 square meters. km, a third of Moscow. On the one hand - the sea, on the other - Egypt, from the other two - Israel. This is not an Israeli enclave, as many believe. Gaza has an access to the sea and two borders with other states. There is only a full -fledged own statehood. Why?

According to the UN plan of 1947, according to the Palestine and Jewish states, the gas sector was to be part of the territory of the future Palestinian state. As a result of the Israeli of the Arab-Israeli war of 1948-1949, the Palestinian state, which began after the proclamation of the state, was not created. However, Israel is not to blame. The next 20 years, until 1967, the gas sector was occupied by Egypt. The nominally existing government of Palestine in 1959 was dispersed by the Egyptian president Nasser.

Based on the results of the Six Day War of 1967, control over the gas passed to Israel. This is not to say that he so held on to this troubled territory. At the negotiations in 1978 in Kemp-David (USA), Israel proposed to return to Gaza to Egypt, but he refused. Why Egypt is an additional headache? It is no coincidence that President Sadat in one of his speeches in the Egyptian parliament once said: “Before the war for the rights of the Palestinian people, Egypt was the prosperous country of the Arab world. Now we are a poor country, and Palestinians demand that we fight again for them until the last Egyptian soldier. ”

In 1993, between Israel and the organization of the liberation of Palestine were signed in Oslo of agreements, according to which the Palestinian National Administration was formed on the western bank of the Jordan River and in the gas sector. According to these agreements, Israel ensured military control over joint land boundaries, air gas sector and its territorial waters.

It seemed that the creation of the Palestinian state was close. In August 2005, Israel withdrew all its troops from the Gaza sector and eliminated all its settlements. The Israelites left this territory. The Palestinians have a new chance. However, two years later, in July 2007, the Hamas terrorist organization came to the authorities in the Palestinian autonomy-first as a result of the coup, then with the help of elections, fixed in the gas sector. The West Coast remained in the hands of the legal Palestinian administration.

The shelling of the southern part of Israel has been conducted by home -made missiles from the territory of Gaza since 2001. But if earlier it was the initiative of Palestinian militants, then after Hamas came to power, this became state policy. The Hamas program directly involves the destruction of the state of Israel and its replacement with Muslim theocracy.

Terrorists are not capable of creative activities - neither in economics, nor in politics, nor in state construction. They do not need education or health care. They need a state of war, only thanks to which they can be held in power. (It is very similar to present Russia, but only we have it all in a milder performance. It is not for nothing that the Kremlin and Hamas are trained in a friendly relationship.)

In a situation where the gas sector proclaims the destruction of Israel as the main political and military goal with the lips of its leadership, the blockade of military supplies in gas becomes an urgent necessity. The list of goods prohibited for import includes not only weapons or its components, but also dual -use goods, that is, those that can be used both in military and peaceful purposes. For example, cement from which you can build houses, or you can strengthen the walls of tunnels under the Egyptian border for the transfer of weapons to gas. True, in these lists, the goods were obviously peaceful for a long time, which only confirms the inevitability of mutual bitterness during the escalation of military conflicts.

This is the background of today's blockade of the Gaza sector. What country would have arrived in the place of Israel differently? Who would calmly look at the supply of smuggled weapons across his border or border, which he is authorized to protect? Moreover, this weapon against the same country will be used.

A few days remained before the denouement. If the courts manage to leave the ports and swim to Israel, then the clash is inevitable. True, everyone will not be able to swim. Last Friday, the Greek authorities stopped the American ship “Apulment of Hope” who came out of Piraeus near Athens. That same evening, the Greek coastal guard took control of the Canadian ship Tahrir. It was just about to go to sea and join other vessels heading for gas. Fate and other ships are not quite understandable at the moment. One or two had breakdowns that are written off to the divers of Israeli intelligence Mossad. Probably, everything will be clear to Tuesday July 5.

If the Flotilla of Freedom reaches the shores of the Gaza, then the success of the campaign is ensured. It will not be that Gaza Palestinians will receive humanitarian help - they will not receive it this time. Yes, no one counts on this. For the organizers of the swim, humanitarian aid is just a beautiful picture; Otherwise, why would they bring her to gas, where there are no cargo terminals, nor at all a seaport in which this load could be unloaded? They were not even going to even!

This success will not even be that the motley anti -Israeli forces around the world will find a reason to talk once again about the “criminal Zionist blockade of the Gaza”. For some reason, they do not remember exactly the same actions in relation to Gaza by Egypt. As well as the fact that control over the borders of the Gaza is assigned to Israel reached in Oslo by agreements, which Hamas now decided not to recognize.

The real success of the enterprise will be that Hamas helpless in peaceful life will once again appear before the Palestinians in the image of the defender of the nation. Hamas will once again try to convince the Palestinian people that only in the destruction of Israel his happiness, only in the war with Israel his salvation. And only Hamas can be entrusted with the military leadership and reins of the Board of Gas. In addition, Hamas, using the example of the Flotor Freedom, will argue that it enjoys wide international support. What other terrorists fell such a happy card?
