Mikhail Gorbachev died

The only president of the Soviet Union Mikhail Gorbachev died in history. It is reported by TASS with reference to the Central Committee of the CCB. He died at the 92nd year of his life after a long illness.

According to his friend, journalist Alexei Venediktov, a month before his death, Gorbachev spoke about the war unleashed by Vladimir Putin in Ukraine. Venediktov noted that Putin destroyed his entire legacy, untied this war.

“I can tell you that he is upset, of course, he understands what is happening. It was a matter of his life. Freedom is Gorbachev’s business, ”the journalist said.
