In April 2020, the Proletarsky District Court of Tula found a 52-year-old local resident guilty under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting ethnic hatred committed by a person after he was brought to administrative responsibility for a similar act during the year) and sentenced him to a fine of 300 thousand rubles.
The initiation of a criminal case became known on February 5, 2020. According to investigators, from August to November 2019, the man posted anti-Semitic texts and images on his social network page.
In June 2019, he was found guilty under Art. 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (inciting ethnic hatred) and fined 10 thousand rubles. Sources
