Having abandoned the European development vector, which Russia got up many centuries ago, the historian warns, the country risks hopelessly to lag behind in all areas, including in scientific and technical, which hardly coincides with the interests of the Russian people.

Stepanov is taken to argue with his opponents in the style of political denunciation , to which all “patriotic journalism” gradually slides in the Russian Federation.
