All police officers, guilty of the death of 15-year-old Nikita Leontiev, were sentenced, and the deceased teenager is still being judged
The Nevsky District Court of St. Petersburg, the former deputy chief of the 75th police department of the 41-year-old Major Oleg Prokhorenkov (him, as well as another accomplice of this crime-27-year-old district police officer Denis Ivanov, was fired from the bodies, deprived of the bodies immediately after the incident).
Three years after the release of Prokhorenkov will not be able to serve in law enforcement agencies and occupy public positions. In addition, the ex-police must pay the mother and sister of the deceased 1.5 million rubles. Compensation of non -pecuniary damage - the court fully satisfied the civil lawsuit of the Leontyev family. The defendant in the last word did not admit his guilt - he asked for excuses. Prokhorenkov’s defense categorically does not agree with the verdict and will appeal it in the City Court of St. Petersburg.
On June 4, the court sentenced Oleg Prokhorenkov to nine years in a colony of general regime with a three -year ban on holding public office and serving in the police. Drawing - Natalia Mikhalchuk
Recall, on January 21, 2012, Nikita Leontyev returned home from training past the police station, where three employees of the 75th police department celebrated his birthday: the district lieutenant Denis Ivanov, the deputy head of the service Major Oleg Prokhorenkov and the deputy head of the threat, Major Alexei Malykh (died on February 5, 2012, until the end of the investigation).
As follows from the materials of the case, “Ivanov, Malykh and Prokhorenkov, guided by the falsely understood interests of the service, in order to create the impression of the effectiveness of their work, illegally detained Leontiev.”
In the stronghold of Nikita, injuries were incompatible with life. The forensic experts counted about 100 damage and 28 traumatic effects on the body of the deceased, including the skull broke it. About what was happening in the department, "New" spoke earlier . The unfortunate person died the same night.
The next morning, the investigating authorities opened a criminal case. On January 23, Denis Ivanov was arrested, on February 29 - Oleg Prokhorenkov. Ivanov immediately confessed, concluded a deal with the investigation, he was judged in a special manner and granted the right to reduce the maximum term of punishment. On September 10, 2013, the same Nevsky District Court of St. Petersburg sentenced the ex-telephone to 6.5 years in a maximum security colony. In January 2014, he appealed the verdict in the city court, the higher instance upheld him.

Oleg Prokhorenkov first refused to testify, and when he began to speak, he did not admit his guilt. The investigation initially accused him of “intentionally causing serious bodily harm that resulted in the death of the victim” (Article 111 of Part 4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and “excess of official powers using violence and causing grave consequences” (Article 286 of Part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
According to Ivanov, they beaten the teenager together with the chef-in the 75th police department, Prokhorenkov oversaw the work of the district police officers. According to the conclusion of the examination, there was a deadly brain injury with a pressed fracture of the temporal bone scales. Moreover, the experts considered a fist or palm unlikely. In their opinion, most likely the injury was formed from a blow to the angle of a stupid solid object, for example, a desktop tabletop. Ivanov testified that the major was assaulted and pushed the teenager on the table. Prokhorenkov himself was on interrogations with investigators, and in court insisted that he did not touch Nikita with his finger.
On May 20, 2014, during the debate in the Nevsky District Court, the prosecutor's office abandoned part of the charges against the former deputy head of the 75th police department. So, the state prosecutor announced the incorrectly qualification of Prokhorenkov’s actions under Art. 111 h. 4 of the Criminal Code and left in the indictment only Art. 286 h. 3 of the Criminal Code. The prosecutor asked Judge Mikhail Kharitonov to recognize the defendant guilty and punish his seven years in prison.
Nevertheless, the judge was more strict, having sentenced Oleg Prokhorenkov on June 4 to nine years in a general regime colony, followed by a three -year ban on holding public office and serving in the police. Kharitonov’s decision was a surprise not only for the defendant and his defense, but also for the mother of the murdered boy.
“After the court decision on Ivanov, after the seven years, which the prosecutor asked for Prokhorenkov, I, of course, did not expect such a sentence. I am satisfied with them or not satisfied until I understood whether I have not experienced any feelings about this, I will not give any assessments, ”Olga Leontyeva said to“ new ”.
In Nikita’s mother, other things caused a reaction: “It wasn’t that it was surprised, it was not at all surprised, it was quite expected, but unpleasant: the major did not admit any guilt. Even partially. Even when this wine was already proved by the investigation and the court. He did not admit guilt even in violation of job descriptions. ”
Prokhorenkov with a judge was indeed explained as a dagger with the school principal. Mikhail Kharitonov asks: “Why didn’t you tell his parents about the detention of a minor? Teachers? Coach? " The defendant replies: "We did not have such an opportunity." Kharitonov: “Why? Leontiev did not know the phones of his parents? Didn't know the home number? There is no database in the 75th police department? " Prokhorenkov: “There is a base ... Leontiev knew ...” - “Then why?” “I can't answer your question.” - "Why didn't you give the leadership a report on the assault of your subordinate Ivanov?" - "I did not have time" ...
Judge Mikhail Kharitonov not only announced Prokhorenkov, but also explained why he appointed such a punishment: in the actions of the ex-police, both the excess of official powers and the failure to comply with the job descriptions were seen.
The lawyer of the defendant Igor Chigir, barely leaving the courtroom, said: “I am in the root, categorically, absolutely disagree with the sentence. The court gave an incorrect evaluation of evidence. I heard a distortion of the testimony of witnesses and facts, noticed ignoring significant details. So you cannot judge people. Ivanov made a deal with the investigation and received a milder punishment for a heavier crime. But non -recognition of guilt is not an aggravating circumstance! This is his right to defense. I still insist on the complete excuse of my client. I categorically disagree with either the arguments of the court or with its conclusions. We will appeal the verdict 100 % after we get in our hands. Probably already next week. ”
Meanwhile, in the same Nevsky District Court, the process over the deceased Nikita Leontyev is now ongoing. The teenager is posthumously judged for the robbery, which he allegedly committed and on suspicion in which he was allegedly detained by Ivanov, small and Prokhorenkov.
But in this criminal case there was originally so many ambiguities and inaccuracies that as a result, the story of the yet not proven emission of 300 rubles was investigated for almost two years.
Initially, “law enforcement officers” claimed that they detained Nikita on suspicion of robbery. According to them, Leontiev took away 300 rubles from a chronically drinking 45-year-old Svetlana Kuzmina. The investigators managed to interrogate the victim delivered by the drive only on the seventh attempt, a few weeks later.
The appearance of the deceased Kuzmina described inaccurately. She added that there was another guy with him, whom she does not remember and will never know when meeting. The “stolen” money of Kuzmina was returned on the night of January 22 during the “detention” of Nikita. There is no evidence or witnesses of the incident in the materials.
Judge Tatyana Mikhailova insisted that the process pass in a closed format - due to the fact that the deceased accused at the time of tragic events was not 18 years old. The next meeting in the case of Nikita will be held on June 9.
