On February 23, 2007, Evgeny and Natalya Golubevs, along with their one -year -old son, Sasha returned to their room - they lived in a communal apartment and celebrated a holiday with their neighbors that evening. Eugene played with Sasha, sitting on the floor - the child already knew how to walk and even run. Natalia at this time prepared a bath for her son. It was one of the last calm family evenings that the Golubevs later recalled.
On March 3, their son suddenly became bad. “His legs refused, he began to fall, began to choke, began to wheeze,” Golubev later recalled. The child was getting worse, and the parents called an ambulance. However, the doctor who came to the call could not help. With the words "I do not understand what with him" he advised Golubev to go to the hospital. By that time, Sasha had already lost consciousness .
The boy was put in intensive care. Parents were not allowed to go to him, and they sat all night in the corridor. In the morning, the doctor came out to Golubev and said: "The child died."
The cause of the death of the one -year -old Sasha was called "heart failure." At the funeral, Natalya Golubeva turned pale and began to choke. Eugene noticed this and wanted to help, but he himself felt that he was barely on his feet: “It became difficult to breathe. With a deep breath [appeared] a strong carving in the chest, ”Golubev recalled . Right from the funeral, he and his wife were taken to the hospital.

At first, doctors treated them for pneumonia, but this did not help. Eugene fell into a coma . Natalia remained conscious, but could not get out of bed.
Later, the Golubevs had symptoms that are atypical for inflammation of the lungs: their hair fell out, vision worsened, their legs refused. “We lay and, by and large, were dying. No one could say what was happening to us. They said that we have a shock after the death of our son. But this continued further, and it got worse, ”Eugene recalled later.
Then the doctors suspected poisoning with heavy metals. Yaroslavl laboratories could not determine the poison, and the Golubev’s tests were sent to St. Petersburg. Examination showed: spouses were poisoned by Tallium. “We were simply horrified by the concentrations that were found in the blood,” said George Livanov, the main researcher at the department of clinical toxicology of the ambulance of St. Petersburg. - There were high concentrations, hundreds of milligrams. This is a lot. ”
When doctors from Yaroslavl found out about this, they, according to Golubev, "stood on end." “They said that my dose is more than 10 times higher than a fatal one. It is not clear how I am still alive yet, ”Eugene recalled . - They drained blood, pumped out plasma, poured saline. When the doctor drained the first time for the first time, I saw how he was shook himself, to shake the beginning ... He showed the plasma - it was black. ” Doctors also gave Golubev drugs to restore nerves and heart. Natalia received a smaller dose of Tallia, so she recovered faster. Eugene lay in the hospital for two months, he was discharged with disabilities.
Although officially Sasha died of heart failure, the Investigative Committee began checking. “In the day, actually [the child] died. Naturally, this did not fit into the framework of normal, and we became interested, ” recalled Sergey Frost, who at that moment held the post of deputy prosecutor of the Dzerzhinsky district of Yaroslavl.
It soon became clear that the Yaroslavl investigator Valery Shcherbakov a year earlier went to the hospital with similar symptoms. “I knew him very well. And in memory it was fresh that he died suddenly. He was a strong man. Charismatic, brutal, ”investigator Dmitry Andrianov told reporters. -And now, as I remember now, after some weekend we went to work and found out that Valera is everything. Something happened to the heart. We compared these facts. ”

Shcherbakov suffered from mysterious illness for several months. “No matter how much he went to the doctor - they investigated everything: they did fluorography and filmed the cardiogram. They could not make a diagnosis, ”the wife of Shcherbakova Galina recalled. - In recent days, he could not sleep. The last three days I fell asleep, sitting in a chair. ” On the night of September 10, 2006, Shcherbakov began to suffocate and soon died. Officially, also from "heart failure." His wife stayed with her little son.
The former mayor and his wife killed her granddaughter, she could dissolve their bodies in barrels or take out in parts. All for the sake of money crime 5 minutes of reading
After the poisoning of the Golubevs, biomaterial Shcherbakov was also sent to St. Petersburg. The forensic medical examination confirmed: the cause of death was also Tallius. The prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case. “For almost 25 years I have been working in the prosecutor’s office and for the first time [see] such a murder when a person uses such an unusual way,” said Sergey Sedov, prosecutor of Yaroslavl.
Investigators realized that poisoning is interconnected. They found out that Shcherbakov did not know the Golubevs - and then they began to look for their common acquaintances. Investigators compiled lists of those with whom the victims communicated over the past six months. The surnames were divided into columns: “households and neighbors”, “colleagues”, “persons who took place in criminal cases” - and even “random meetings”. For several days, investigators checked the lists and found only one coincidence. 37-year-old Vyacheslav Soloviev became the suspect

It turned out that a year ago Shcherbakov was investigating Solovyov’s crime. “It was a common thing. In a drunken fight, he hit his comrade with a knife. He was then sentenced to conditionally punishment, ”said Sergey Sedov, prosecutor of Yaroslavl.
Investigators went around all the companies of Yaroslavl, where chemicals were sold. In total, there were five of them in the city - and the seller of one of them recognized Solovyov from the photo.
Later, investigators discovered another oddity. Around Solovyov, people were dying for years. “They collected all materials on the deaths of people around this person. And it turned out that there were five deaths, ”said Sedov. “Then the idea appeared that all these deaths were not accidental.” Moreover, people became ill with similar symptoms - their hair fell out and their hearts appeared. When law enforcement officers found out about this, they established constant surveillance behind Soloviev.
Solovyov was watched for several days, but this did not give results. He led an ordinary life - by car he drove to work, and spent the evenings at home or in the garage. Then the operatives decided to search the workplace of Solovyov, while he was not in the office. In his safe, they found a disc with the film “The Hand Book of a Young Poisoner” about the serial killer Graham Yang , who has been interested in poisons since childhood. The printed personnel were also stored there - Soloviev chose the moment where the heroine had hair from poisoning.

Solovyov continued to follow. The operatives were divided into two groups: some drove him around the city, while others watched the place of work. Finally, the investigators noticed the oddities in his behavior: Solovyov went several times towards the abandoned warehouses that were in the enterprise - and each time turned back, because his colleagues entangled. He managed to go beyond the warehouses only in the afternoon - he squatted and began to delve into the ground.

As soon as he disappeared, the operatives examined the territory at the warehouses. In the ground, they found a bottle of white crystalline powder and sent its contents for examination. The next morning the results came: the bubble is filled with the Tallii sulfate.
On the same day, Solovyov was detained: as soon as he took a bottle from the cache and put in a badge, two operatives ran out of an ambush and snapped the handcuffs on it. Solovyov interrogated seven hours - he spoke about his life and confessed to other murders.
Vyacheslav Soloviev was born on March 12, 1970 in Yaroslavl. Almost nothing is known about his family, childhood and youth. Nobody noticed a tendency to violence for him until, at the age of 18, during the service in the army in the Caucasus, he received a traumatic brain injury. After that, he allegedly had uncontrolled outbreaks of aggression. Later, in conversations with the police, his father reasoned that the “look at the things” of his son could change precisely in the army. During the service, Soloviev was diagnosed with diabetes. He received the second disability group and left the service.

Returning to Yaroslavl, Soloviev almost immediately married Olga's classmate, who waited for him from the army. Parents gave them an apartment for a wedding, soon Olga became pregnant. “I love you strongly, so. I have no one but you. I understand that it is not enough to prove my love, things are needed, ”Solovyov wrote to his wife when she was in the hospital. In 1989, their daughter Nastya was born.
“We did not dream of the best neighbors. There were so good people, ” said Lidia Borisova, a neighbor of the Solovyovs. “It was an ideal family. They had everything at the level: renovation, car, cottage, ” said another neighbor Tamara Smurova. - Olga did not work. He believed that she should sit at home. " The wife raised flowers, carried her daughter to an art school and looked after Solovyov, who was required due to diabetes.
However, in the early 2000s, their relationship began to deteriorate: according to one of the versions of Solovyov, he sat down on gambling and entered into debt. Olga did not like the financial situation of the family, and they often quarreled . Later Soloviev said that his wife was just “ tired of him.”
Solovyov’s life changed forever after he came across an article in a newspaper about how 47-year-old Alexander Krivobokov from Novosibirsk poisoned his wife Tallium: the doctors could not make the correct diagnosis, and she died. “[The article] told about various poisons. It was in principle interested in it, ”said Solovyov during interrogation.
Soon he watched the film "The Hand Book of the Young Poisoner" about Graham Yang . Following, I read the book of Agatha Christie “Villa“ White Horse ”, whose heroes were dying of Tallium poisoning.
Impressed, in 2002, Soloviev tried to synthesize the poison - he was looking for recipes in books and the Internet. After several failures, he abandoned the attempts and simply bought 400 grams of Tallia sulfate and other substances in a storehouse for gardeners - he spent 2.5 thousand rubles on everything.

Soloviev tested the poison on himself - he wanted to know how he would act on the body. “I really felt a very rapid heartbeat. It really darkened in my eyes, even somehow laid its ears, and it was hard to breathe, ” said Soloviev. “But the dose was small, and I immediately took an antidote, an antidote.” A few months later, he poured Sulfate Tallia into a bowl with cat food. The cat died, which greatly upset Olga.
On November 19, 2003, Vyacheslav poured poison into fried fish, which Olga then ate. The woman immediately became ill. Soloviev was frightened and called an ambulance - Olga was hospitalized, and she survived. However, Soloviev continued to add small portions of Sulfate Tallia to his wife's coffee .

For several months, Olga lost weight. “My husband bought a subscription to the pool, I am losing weight in science - I’m swimming, I also go to acupuncture,” she answered neighbors who noticed something was amiss. Olga also complained that his appetite was completely disappeared. Over time, she felt worse and turned to doctors several times, but they could not make the correct diagnosis.

On December 9, 2003, Soloviev once again poured Sulfate Tallia into his wife's mug. She did not have time to finish coffee, as she began to choke . 32-year-old Olga fell into a coma and in the evening died in the hospital. Pathologists found out that she was refused the kidneys and liver, but the reason remained unknown. The neighbors thought that Olga died by a natural death, and sympathized with Solovyov, who was left alone with his 14-year-old daughter Nastya-he defiantly mourned, went to the grave to his wife, often cried.
Soloviev conceived the new murder even before Olga was buried. The neighbor Mikhail Surin often got drunk and fell asleep across the corridor, preventing Vyacheslav from going to the apartment. When a car battery disappeared from their general vestibule, Soloviev thought that Surin was to blame, and finally decided to kill.
He invited Surin to visit, before that he bought a bottle of vodka and a jar of red caviar, which he mixed with poison. However, Surin went into a binge and did not come to the neighbor - the poisoned caviar remained in the refrigerator.
While Solovyov was at work, his daughter Nastya made a sandwich with caviar - and on the same day she ended up in the hospital. “Her legs were taken away. She could wake up at night from the fact that she had terrible pains in her legs. The hair began to fall out very much, ”said Victoria Baranova, a friend of Nastya. The girl slept poorly and almost did not move in pain, she was sick, and her head was spinning . Doctors could not find the cause of the illness and in March 2004 let Nastya be treated home. Despite the pain, she continued to go to school .

When it got warmer, Nastya lived for some time in the country with her grandparents, Solovyov’s parents. The girl became better , but remission did not last long. In the last weeks, Nastya spent at home - lay on the bed, turning away to the wall. Soloviev saw the torment of his daughter, but he never gave her an antidote.
He did not tell the doctors about the present cause of the disease. “He was not even interested in the result, but the process, so he watched his daughter for so long,” reasoned Sergey Sedov, the prosecutor of Yaroslavl. - Yes, in principle, he directly said about this: “I have already become a professional chemist, and I became interested in how events would develop after a person accepts.” Soloviev himself explained inaction differently: “It was my mistake, my weakness, cowardice. I was afraid that I would be accused of murder, ”he later admitted . “I was only surprised that, it turns out, you can just kill a person.”

On August 25, 2004, the neighbors saw an ambulance drove up to the house. Soloviev took out a hike wrapped in a blanket - she was already dead. Soloviev told the neighbors that the daughter supposedly “swallowed pills” because she could not cope with the loss of her mother.
Doctors called the cause of death "acute heart failure." According to Valery Solovyov, Father Vyacheslav, the son behaved strangely: the act of autopsy, he immediately knocked on to the results of a chemical study, after which he “with relief” read aloud - “poisonous substances were not found”.
Nastya was buried next to his mother, as Soloviev wanted. Soon he closed the business and sold the apartment - explained to his neighbors that he could no longer "be in this house."
Solovyov’s father, who worked at the oil refinery, arranged his son in a construction company - a supply engineer. The boss “had no complaints” to the new employee. According to him , Soloviev and "the man was good" - "good -natured, responsive."
At the end of 2004, Soloviev began dating Irina Astakhova, who worked as a saleswoman in the market. He bought an apartment in a house under construction, and he moved to Astakhova, but he was quickly tired of his relationship. He began to convince Irina that he should leave - supposedly on him lies the damage , from which his relatives die.
