On July 18, a statement was published by the Orthodox Brotherhood of Alexander Nevsky in Novosibirsk about the activities of the religious organization Ayat. The representative of the regional center for sectarianism at the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Oleg Zaev, said that the law enforcement agencies of the Novosibirsk region were informed of the start of the organization, which the brotherhood calls a "sect."
Farkhat Abdullayev and his wife Nina are the leaders of the organization prosecuted in Kazakhstan on a number of criminal charges (illegal private medical practice and participation in the activities of an unregistered religious association).
According to Zaev, several residents of the city have already turned to the center with complaints about the followers of the teaching.
