The imperial person and her heavenly patroness met in Pskov

At the anniversary week, Pskov was visited by a member of the Imperial family of the Romanovs-Olga Nikolaevna Kulikovskaya-Romanova. On the last day of the visit, the guest met reporters.

Olga Nikolaevna Kulikovskaya-Romanova-the widow of Tikhon Nikolayevich Kulikovsky-Romanov, the grandson of Emperor Alexander III, the native nephew of Nicholas II, the son of Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna, lives in Canada, and was born in Yugoslavia. Her husband worked as an engineer at the Canadian Ministry of Railways, and she herself was a translator. In Pskov, Olga Nikolaevna arrived on a private visit. She really wanted to speak at the opening of the monument to Princess Olga, the work of Vyacheslav Klykov, but this was not possible according to the old Soviet tradition: the opening ceremony was agreed in advance and did not even make changes to it for the member of the imperial family, the Pskov authorities.

Olga Nikolaevna turned out to be a real representative of the old Russian aristocracy: a worthy posture, a benevolent look and a wonderful Russian language. By the way, in addition to Russian, the guest speaks in Serbian, English, Spanish, German and French.

The first time she visited Russia in 1990 and since then, being the chairman of the charitable foundation in the name of her imperial highness Grand Duchess Olga Aleksandrovna, he regularly visits our country with humanitarian missions: either he will bring products, then medical equipment.

The press conference began with the appeal of Olga Nikolaevna to the Pskovs: “Dear Pskovs! I sincerely thank God that, together with you, I celebrate the triumph of the 1100-year anniversary of Mr. Pskov-the houses of the Blessed Trinity! For me, this is especially significant in that the Pskov celebrations coincide with the day of the memory of my heavenly patroness of the holy Equal -to -the -Apostles Grand Duke Olga. ”

Answering the questions of journalists, a relative of Nicholas II expressed her attitude to the so -called “Yekaterinburg remains”: “I can’t speak for all the Romanovs, I will express the point of view of my husband and my own, since in this matter I fully support him. DNA analysis did not give one hundred percent similarities, and in this case the similarity should not even be 99%, but 120%. ”

In Pskov, the widow of the grandson of Alexander III arrived from Yekaterinburg, where she took part in the opening of the temple at the site of the death of the imperial family. Olga Nikolaevna hopes that the restoration of temples is a real symbol of changes in Russia, the repentance of its people: "The construction of God's temple at the place of the murder of a royal family for the active repentance of the whole Russian people is evidence of the great victory of Christian love over the universal evil."
