On September 3, the newspaper "AiF (Moscow)" published an article by Georgy Alexandrov "Who is the boss in the market" about the situation in the food markets of the capital, which, according to the author, "almost completely controls the Azerbaijani diaspora ( highlighted by the author)" . Its representatives act as not only merchants, but "they themselves are the" roof ". "Caucasians ... pay the police to not touch them. With the help of bribes, they also bypass the tax authorities ." Emphasizing that ordinary citizens, both producers and buyers, suffer from the presence of crime in the markets, Alexandrov calls for action and cites European capitals as an example, where only the products of the surrounding villages are offered in the markets, and the rest is purchased in small shops or supermarkets.
I would like to advise the editors to carefully draw up the "headers" of articles, since the announcement of this publication creates the impression of a sharper position of the author than it actually is, and, accordingly, of the attitude of the editors themselves to the stated problem. Meanwhile, G. Aleksandrov's article is accompanied by comments by experts, which rightly point out that, according to the law, anyone who is able to withstand competition can trade on the market and ousting someone from the market is possible only by economic methods.
