In 2004, the restoration of the mosque in the village of Yembayevo is to be completed. For these purposes, 2.7 million rubles were allocated from the budget of the Tyumen region. According to Aleksey Malchevsky, chairman of the committee on nationality affairs of the regional administration, "in the south of the region, only two mosques (Embaevskaya and Tobol-Turinskaya) have the status of cultural heritage monuments, so taking care of them is the task of the state."
After the completion of the restoration, the Spiritual Muslim Board of the Tyumen region plans to open a madrasah for the training of imams at this mosque. According to A. Malchinsky, "today there is a problem with the training of imams in the Tyumen region. They are trained mainly abroad, in the Middle East, in countries where Islam is practiced in a different - fundamentalist - direction. Then these ideas come to us. That is why we We are interested in training of personnel in our country".
