The presidential administration is discussing the introduction of the post of Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation for Muslim Affairs

One of the consequences of V. Putin's participation in the work of the OIC in Kuala Lumpur was the discussion in the presidential administration of the issue of introducing a new post of Assistant to the President for Muslim Affairs in Russia and international Islamic organizations, the website "Regions.ru" reports . Among the possible candidates for this post are the representative of the President of Russia on human rights in Chechnya, Abdul-Khakim Sultygov, and the deputy of the State Duma, Abdul Vakhed Niyazov, one of the leaders of the Great Russia-Eurasian Union bloc.
