A decision was made to create a Pool of confessional press services

On October 22, at the round table "The role of the media in the formation of tolerance and the prevention of interreligious conflicts" at the Ministry of Press, it was decided to organize a permanent public body for the interaction of press services of religious confessions under the Methodological Council for the coverage of religious topics in the media. The new body will play a bridging role between religious organizations and the media.

Representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church, the Council of Muftis of Russia, the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia, the Russian Union of Evangelical Christians, the Armenian Apostolic Church, the Seventh-day Adventist Christian Church, the Roman Catholic Church took part in the discussion of the project. The idea of ​​creating a pool was also supported by the Minister for National Policy V. Zorin.
