Attack on an Azerbaijani in Nizhny Novgorod

In November 2003, in the passage of the metro station "Proletarskaya" in the Leninsky district of Nizhny Novgorod, a group of young people of 6-7 people attacked an Azerbaijani student, Magomed R. The student received multiple stab wounds. The victim spent 3 weeks in the hospital with a diagnosis of lung damage. During the beating, the attackers chanted the slogans "Get out of here", "You don't know who you've got in touch with", "We will evict you all from here anyway" .

Two young men were detained in November 2003. A criminal case was initiated against them under the article "Hooliganism". The case was closed in April 2004.
