In the newspaper Sovetskaya Rossiya, the journalist who signed A.V. drew attention to the dialogue that took place on the Hot Line with President V.V. Putin, when a certain " person from the Caucasus" (as in the text - ed. ) expressed his dissatisfaction with the slogan "Russia - for the Russians!". The author of the article was extremely outraged by this circumstance, since he considers this slogan not nationalistic, but expressing "the geopolitical realization of the Russian people." It would be another matter if the slogan looked like “Russia is only for Russians!”, but even in this case, according to A.V., there remains a reason for talking, since, according to the journalist, 17 out of 20 of its inhabitants are among the population of the Russian Federation - these are Slavs: Great Russians, Ukrainians and Belarusians.
Meanwhile, the fact that Vladimir Putin condemned the slogan "Russia for the Russians!" and promised to "deal with" its carriers, gives rise to doubts in the journalist whether "the candidate V. Putin is Russian in the upcoming... elections" .
