A seminar on the spread of religion and regulation of the activities of religious associations is held in Vladivostok

In Vladivostok, a seminar organized by the Department of Social Development and Mass Media of the Primorye Administration together with the Far Eastern State University for employees of district, city and village administrations, teachers, journalists and law enforcement officers began its work. The seminar, dedicated to the spread of religion and the regulation of the activities of religious associations, is designed to promote the development of cooperation between all its participants in the field of religious education and spiritual and moral education. Professor of the Orthodox St. Tikhon Theological Institute, Deacon Andrey Kuraev, delivers lectures at the seminar.

The problem of interreligious relations in Primorye is currently relevant, since 270 religious organizations belonging to 22 confessions are registered on the territory of the region, the Sedmitsa.ru website reports with reference to ITAR-TASS.
