The leadership of the Saratov School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will provide Muslim cadets with the opportunity to perform prayers and eat in accordance with Sharia norms

On January 15, at a meeting of the Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of the Volga region and national organizations with Muslims serving in the military at the Saratov School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the leadership of the school announced that they were going to provide cadets who profess Islam with a room for prayers. In addition, Muslims will be given leave to attend Friday sermons and holiday prayers. The meeting also addressed the issue of organizing meals for Muslim cadets in accordance with Shariah norms.

The meeting was attended by Major Ivan Galagan, Imam of the Saratov Cathedral Mosque Shafkyat Khakimov, leaders of the Ingush and Dagestan national diasporas Muhammad-Khadzhi Bogatyrev and Salman Musaev.
