The newspaper "Russia" against the Anastasians

On February 5, the newspaper "Rossiya" published an extremely incorrect material on attempts to obtain land plots by fans of the "Ringing Cedars" doctrine.

The reason for the publication was the order of the governor of the Ivanovo region "On the preliminary approval of the location of a rural settlement in the Lezhnevsky district", which provided for the allocation of land to representatives of the Anastasian doctrine ("Anastasians", "Ringing Cedars" a new religious and environmental doctrine. The author of the article - Sergei Detochkin - in an extremely dismissive form sets out the main postulates of the doctrine ( "And how do you like the idea of ​​\u200b\u200bconceiving children under the cedars and giving birth there too ?!", "Six books of the "Holy Scripture" will quite pass for the postulates of the doctrine" and so on.). However, he is not limited to this. In his opinion, this order of the Ivanovo governor, as well as the attempts of the followers of the doctrine to initiate consideration of the draft law "On family homesteads" and the corresponding referendum, is not just an attempt to exist within the framework of their religious postulates. “And if we assume that we are talking about a hastily invented neo-religion, which sets itself the goal of creating new “land” oligarchs in Russia? A religion that has both a public (political?) organization and real lands . It is interesting that the journalist makes an assumption about “land oligarchs” after he himself quotes the words of one of the followers of the doctrine: “In the Komsomolsky district [Ivanovo region] they even told me - if you want, we will give one thousand hectares? But we don’t ask for that much .. ." .

I would like to remind the journalist that a religious organization that de facto owns land, including agricultural land, already exists in Russia - this is the Russian Orthodox Church (for more details, see the section "Religion in a secular society" ) .

In addition, it is completely unclear on what basis S. Detochkin speaks so dismissively about the beliefs of a whole group of people, even if they (beliefs) seem exotic to him.
