Toothpick named after Putin

According to Novaya Gazeta, the St. Petersburg firm Prosperity has produced disposable plastic toothpicks with thread, on the packaging of which President Vladimir Putin is depicted.

Toothpick advertising reads: "a specially designed design expresses the idea of ​​love, kindness, unity of government and people, raising the level of culture, health, personal hygiene." On the reverse side, the slogans are printed: "Everyone is the same - and only HE is the most effective", as well as - "Our future is a strong Russia", "Choose! 03/14/2004".

The "patriotic" toothpick also has a "childish" version: the package shows Putin's dog with the inscription "Our Koni is a mother-heroine." All eight Koni puppies are pictured on the back of the package, with children being asked to come up with names for the puppies.

As the representatives of the manufacturer stated, they assured us that there would be no election campaigning with the help of toothpicks: the packages would simply be distributed free of charge in clinics, shops and restaurants.
