Palestinian student beaten in Kursk

On March 1, 2004, in Kursk, on Akhtyrskaya Street, a 20-year-old student of Moscow State University of Civil Engineering severely beat a 30-year-old Palestinian, a student at the Kursk Medical University.

The city police department stated that the incident had nothing to do with the hostile attitude towards black students on the part of "skinheads". "Currently there are no skinheads in Kursk ," Nikolai Minenkov, head of the city police department, said.
