Another response to Mikhail Khodorkovsky's letter is contained in Alexander Khramchikhin's article "To the Stall!" , published on April 12, 2004 on the website of the "Civil Club".
A. Khramchikhin's article touches briefly on the subject of "The Crisis of Liberalism". The author criticizes M. Khodorkovsky "from the right", and gives arguments only on the basis of a single thesis of the letter:
" Now Khodorkovsky has already called for sharing. His letter is very bad, wrong in essence, because even what is absolutely right there is wrong. ... The slogan that it is necessary to share is deadly, firstly, because denies the need to work in general, and secondly, because it emphasizes: the entrepreneur is not our person ."
Such an extremely liberal position is still held by a minority of M. Khodorkovsky's critics. See, for example, the article "Bourgeois reflections" in the magazine "Expert".
