Anti-Semitic article in the Ivanovo newspaper

On April 15, 2004, the portal "Anti-Semitism. No" reported that during the Passover days, the newspaper "Kursiv Ivanovo" published an article under the characteristic title "Modern Russian Judaism" .

We found this article on the Internet. I must say that we have not come across such publications for a long time.

Vladimir Rakhmankov's article begins with arguments that when the author faced the need to use the word "liquid" "for literary purposes", this caused indignation in the Jewish community, while the use of the word "khokhol" for the same purposes did not cause any indignation. In this regard, the author actually declares that the article "Modern Russian Judaism" is a literary experience, a kind of test for testing public reaction, in reality aimed at exposing the communal problems of the city. He is probably convinced that such an interpretation allows the use of the following phrases:

* "But how can I not digest the Chechens, who would know! They are generally bastards! Everything! Not only have they been fighting with Russia for independence for ten years already (what the hell is independence in the mountains for them), but also the central Ivanovo They want to take over the market!

"I don't like cross-eyed people very much. Two dozen of these little yellow-bellied ones will drag themselves into the first city bathhouse, and let's meow in our own language in the steam room, like slop cats."

“This, in fact, is the essence of Jewishness. If you look closely, you can easily see three main signs, three components of this infection: epistolary sprinkling of ashes on the head in Matrosskaya Tishina, eggs from Carl Faberge’s company, the Chelsea football club (licking the feet of the state , bribery of the state, life at the expense of the state). All three components are stages of movement in a circle, and you will not understand from which of the stages the movement begins. Yes, it does not matter. The fact that the main object of the article turned out to be Jews is explained extremely simply: the main object of the author's attacks is Igor Alper, chairman of the United Russia faction in the Ivanovo City Duma.

The leadership of the Jewish community, headed by Erwin Kirshtein, filed a statement with the regional prosecutor demanding that the author of the article be held accountable under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

For our part, we can only express surprise that only the Jewish community was indignant.
