Anti-fascist flash mob in Russia

On April 18, 2004, anti-Nazi flash mob actions were held in Moscow, Vladimir, Voronezh Kaluga, Lipetsk, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar and several other Russian cities.

In Voronezh, this action was supported by the International Network "Youth Human Rights Movement" and "Ecodefense!"-Voronezh.

Flash mob participants threw torn swastikas at the monuments to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War as a sign of victory over the Nazis. As noted by the initiators of the action, "the anti-Nazi flash mob on the eve of Hitler's birthday is a cheerful response of young people to Nazi aggression. The purpose of the action is to make young people think about the threat of Nazism and say "no" to it together .
