V. Lukin: the problems of freedom of religion in Russia are not paramount today
On June 16, during a press conference at RIA Novosti, Vladimir Lukin, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, said that problems related to freedom of religion in Russia are not paramount. Since the beginning of the year, the Ombudsman's Office has received 20,000 appeals, of which only 0.7% are in one way or another related to religion, V. Lukin said.
