Trial of the killers of a Tajik girl

In St. Petersburg, the trial of the ethnically motivated murder of a five-year-old girl, the daughter of Tajik gypsies, continues. The process takes place behind closed doors (due to the minority of some of the defendants). Seven teenagers are accused of attacking a camp of Tajik gypsies near the Dachnoe railway platform, as a result of which a 5-year-old girl, Nilufar Sangboeva, was killed. Four of them are in custody, the rest are on bail. During the first meeting, the indictment was announced, according to which the defendants are charged with murder, attempted murder, and intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm. According to the investigation, the defendants are members of an extremist youth association of skinheads, and the crime was committed on the basis of ethnic hatred.

A criminal case was initiated on the fact of the murder of a child, but the suspects were detained only at the beginning of this year. The members of the St. Petersburg Department of Organized Crime Control came to the participants of the attack near the Dachnoye station during the investigation of the murder of another Tajik girl, Khursheda Sultanova, which took place on February 9 in the Admiralteisky district of St. Petersburg.
