On the eve of B. Moiseev’s concert in Ulyanovsk, notices appeared in Orthodox churches calling for people to come to a protest rally

On October 5 and 7, on the eve of the planned concert of B. Moiseev, the Ulyanovsk Orthodox community held protest rallies. The action was supported by the local Cossacks. Invitations to support the rally were posted in all Orthodox churches in the city. For three days, the Ulyanovsk radio broadcasted Orthodox programs dedicated to "the perniciousness of the Sodomite sin and calling on morally healthy Ulyanovsk residents to come to the rally or at least refrain from attending the concert."

The concert, despite the protests, took place in Ulyanovsk, although, according to Russkiy Vestnik , ticket prices were reduced. During the performance, about 80 people walked around the building where the concert was taking place.
