Distributor of RNE leaflets detained in Kostroma

In early November 2004, in Kostroma, policemen detained a man who was distributing RNE leaflets , which contained calls to arm in order to fight terrorism. About 800 leaflets were seized.

According to a REGNUM correspondent, the materials were transferred to the FSB, and then, under investigation, to the regional prosecutor's office. Based on the results of the audit, it is possible that a case will be initiated under article 239 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Organization of an association that infringes on the personality and rights of citizens).

COMM. In our opinion, the very fact of detention of the distributor of leaflets is indicative, although, as a rule, such activities are ignored by law enforcement agencies.

Meanwhile, Kursk is also conducting an investigation into the distribution of similar leaflets.
